The national Social Impact in the Regions conference will be held in Stanthorpe 2-4 September.

Ready Stanthorpe Timeline
Mapping: The Ready Communities team are mapping a range of policies, programs, key stakeholders, funding and assets related to the Stanthorpe QLD.
Stakeholder meetings: We have been having conversations with a range of Stanthorpe based stakeholders to learn more about what’s going on in the community and more importantly to identify areas and opportunities that we can help activate during our program and upcoming conference, Social Impact in the Regions (2-4 September).
Focus areas: Following several community forums we have established six focus areas (see below).
Readiness events: Our first Readiness Events were held on Thursday 26 March. More events will be published soon. Here
Social Impact in the Regions: Our national conference is on the way to Stanthorpe – watch this space for updates. Our base is the Civic Centre in town and we will deliver a range of activities throughout the local community.

The Conference
Social Impact in the Regions 2026
Social Impact in the Regions 2026 (#SIITR26) will be held in Stanthorpe QLD starting at the Civic Centre each day and then moving throughout the local community. Our 2026 theme is:
Towns in Transition.
Our dinner theme is abracadabra.
SIITR26 will feature over 50 speakers, numerous workshops and masterclasses. We will also host our popular national pitchfest, Local Impact Showcase and Impact Labs and numerous social events including a dinner and welcome event.
