About
Are you ready?
Ready Communities founders Kerry Grace and Dr Chad Renando have worked alongside regional Australian communities for decades.
We’ve seen funding come and go, energy build and disappear. Our combined experience landed on one common truth. The way change is currently happening in the regions isn’t working.
Together we have created a different pathway to change.
Our work assists regional communities and funders to demonstrate that their regional investments are not just charitable, they are strategically building the enabling conditions for long-term social, environmental, and economic resilience in communities that national policy has historically underserved.
“It’s a long-term play, firmly grounded in impact and outcomes. To any community offered this opportunity: take it with both hands. You won’t regret it.” Leon Ankersmit CEO Caringa

national regional challenges
Informed by our annual national host community (Flagship community) we design a series of focus areas, and then associated challenges which support not only the local ecosystem, but also address national concerns.
Our first series of National Regional Challenges will launch on 20 May 2026. Join our newsletter to stay up to date.
