Grafton op Shop Collective – April 2026 Catch Up
Here’s the draft:
We’re pleased to invite you to the next gathering of the Op Shop Collective, bringing together local op shops and community organisations across Grafton and South Grafton.
Monday, 20 April 4:00 PM Grafton Anglican Cathedral
This will be our fourth meeting as a collective. Since coming together in mid-2025, we’ve built connections across our local op shop network, mapped shared challenges, and started exploring what we can achieve by working together.
What we’ll cover this meeting
We’ll hear from each other on recent successes and challenges, share updates on emerging initiatives, including the design of the Grafton Op Shop tour map, and discuss potential shared initiatives heading into the rest of 2026.
Who should attend
This gathering is open to:
- Op shop managers and volunteers
- Community and charity organisations operating op shops
- Social enterprise representatives
- Anyone involved in or supporting op shop operations in the region
Whether you’ve been part of the Collective from the start or are joining for the first time, your experience and ideas are welcome.
Why attend
- Hear what’s working across local op shops and share your own wins
- Get an update on the Op Shop tour map and other collective initiatives
- Help shape shared priorities for the year ahead
- Connect with others who understand the day-to-day of running an op shop
Chamber of Purpose
Following our meeting, the Grafton Chamber of Purpose is meeting at Caringa from 5:00pm. This is a good group of people to connect with and who may be able to support some of the initiatives we’ve been discussing, including community awareness and shared material processing. Details and registration are available separately.
We look forward to seeing you there!
