What’s often missing is the time and space to step back\, connect the dots and build shared clarity about what matters most and what’s possible next. \nThe Ready Communities Stanthorpe Community Forum is a 1.5hr grounded gathering designed to bring people together across sectors\, roles and generations to reflect\, listen and think forward. \nThis forum is not about launching projects or locking in solutions. It’s about building the conditions that allow good ideas to take root and collective action to emerge over time. \nWhat the forum will focus on\nAcross the two days\, we will explore: \n\nWhat matters most to Stanthorpe right now and into the future\nThe strengths\, assets and connections that already exist in the community\nWhere there is energy\, alignment and shared purpose\nWhat readiness looks like for Stanthorpe as it prepares to host the Social Impact in the Regions Conference in September 2026\n\nThe forum will draw on the Ready Communities readiness framework\, which looks at five core conditions for communities to shape and sustain their own future: \n\nClarity and understanding\nConnection and connectivity\nCapability and capacity\nCollaboration for purpose\nAdvocacy and promotion\n\nWho should attend\nThe forum is open to people who care about Stanthorpe and its future\, including: \n\nCommunity leaders and volunteers\nLocal organisations and service providers\nBusiness owners and social enterprises\nCouncil\, education and health representatives\nYoung people and emerging leaders\nAnyone curious\, committed and willing to participate in open conversation\n\nYou do not need to represent an organisation or have a fully formed idea to attend. \nWhat to expect\nThis is a participatory forum.
