SUMMARY:LAUNCH: Annual Impact Report and National Regional Challenges
DESCRIPTION:Join Kerry Grace and Dr. Chad Renando for the launch of the 2026 Ready Communities Impact Report and Action Plan. \nThis year’s report is presented in three sections: \n1.Regional research: Regions in Transition \nLearn more about the Ready Communities taxonomy of regional transition and why change can be so slow particularly when readiness does not pre-exist. This section also sets a framework for future research on a term the Ready Communities team know well – the ‘gap in the map’\, referring to communities that are somewhat invisible to the service system. \n2. Ready Communities\, a year in reflection \nHear about work the Ready Communities team did in building a readiness model in Grafton\, NSW – what worked\, what didn’t and how the model has since evolved. \n3. Looking ahead 2026-27 \nNow based in Stanthorpe\, QLD the Ready Communities model is focused on ‘investment’ readiness and building this in its Flagship community\, conference and while on tour through NSW and QLD. \nSpecial announcement \nTo truly embed action\, and a national focus to their readiness work\, Kerry and Chad will launch a set of National Regional Challenges. You won’t want to miss this. \n  \nThis launch is delivered online. Registration essential: here
