It’s designed for aspiring social entrepreneurs and anyone working in the fields of sustainability\, environment\, and innovation. \nThe program will kick off with a public information session on Monday 16 June at 2:00pm at the Anglican Church Hall\, Kempsey. The 90-minute session will feature Caitlyn Touzell\, who will outline the program’s structure\, content\, and how locals can get involved. \nThe program itself will commence in mid-July\, running for 10 weeks. Participants will take part in online workshops every two weeks\, alongside one-on-one and group mentoring sessions. Mentors will be sourced from both Boomerang Labs’ and StartSomeGood’s national networks as well as local community leaders\, offering both practical guidance and local context. \nPiers Grove\, Executive Director of StartSomeGood\, said: \n“We’re very pleased to extend our work throughout regional Australia. StartSomeGood has traditionally delivered the Good Hustle online\, and now being able to work directly with communities like Kempsey on the ground is a great next step. We supported the Social Impact in the Regions National Pitchfest in 2024 and are excited to build on that foundation.” \nKerry Grace\, Co-Founder of Ready Communities\, added: \n“We saw a lot of activity in social enterprise in Kempsey last year and are excited to partner with Boomerang Labs and StartSomeGood under this FRRR initiative\, to further grow the sector for the betterment of the Kempsey community.” \nSarah Matthee\, Climate Solutions Portfolio Lead at FRRR\, said: \n“We believe that local people are best placed to identify how climate change is impacting their community\, and FRRR is here to actively support them in this process. \n“Thanks to the support of a growing number of like-minded organisations including Elders Insurance backed by the QBE Foundation\, FRRR is able to back projects like Good Hustle. \n“We look forward to learning about the ideas that come out of the Good Hustle program and we hope that the participating changemakers feel empowered to take a seat at the table to lead community responses to our changing climate. \nRead on for further details regarding the Good Hustle Information Session\, as well as the growing partnership between these organisations.
